The sister to Charlottesville’s vibrant Italian center, Ecco Italy, Spain on Main is owned and directed by educational entrepreneur and traveling gourmet, Christina Ball, while classes are taught by a talented group of native or near-native speakers. Join us on Monday, August 25 for a special open house and Spanish wine tasting in conjunction with Epicurean Ways (a locally based Spanish food-wine tour company) and Market Street Wineshop. Wine expert Robert Harllee will introduce the evening’s selection of wines from the stellar region of Catalunya; Jane Gregg, founder and director of Epicurean Ways will discuss introduce the cuisine and culture of the region (including it’s capital, Barcelona) and Spain on Main instructors will introduce our fall line-up of Conversational Spanish classes.
